Handmade in Holmfirth
The Magic is in the Detail.
The Process
Every piece you see here starts as a labour of love in my Holmfirth studio. Instead of the traditional wheel, I use a sandstone casting method. I carefully pour sandstone into specialised moulds to capture intricate details – from the scales on a dragon to the tiny features of a fairy bear.
Once the pieces are set and dry, the real work begins. I spend hours filing and smoothing every surface to ensure a perfect, professional finish.
Hand-Painted and Waterproof
The "magic" happens during the painting stage. I hand-paint every single item using a specialised waterproof paint. This means it's a planter for your garden or a trinket box for your bedside table; it's built to last and keep its vibrant colour.
A World of Resin and Sanstone
I also love working with resin to create glass-like finishes and durable accessories. My collection is a mix of the whimsical and the practical:
- For the Garden and Home: Planters, vases and my signature cockle shell duck ponds.
- Magical Creatures: Fairy bears, dragons, unicorns and snails.
- Everyday Treasures: Trinket boxes, night lights and keyrings
Truly One of a Kind
Because every piece is filed and painted by hand, no two are ever identical. When you buy from me, you aren't just getting a "product"; you're getting a unique piece of Holmfirth craftsmanship designed to bring a little wonder into your home.
