I want your new ceramic piece to arrive safely and bring a smile to your face! To help things go smoothly, I've answered a few common questions about my handmade process, delivery from my Holmfirth studio, and how to take care of your one-of-a-kind gift. if your question isn't covered here, just drop me a message on the content page
1. Delivery and collection
Question: How much is delivery, and do you ship fragile items safely?
Answer: We take great care in packaging our ceramics using eco-friendly materials to ensure they arrive safely. Delivery is £4 for standard and £6.50 for express. You can also select "local collection at checkout" to pick up your order for free at our Holmfirth studio.
2. The One-of-a-Kind Factor
Question: Will my item look exactly like the photo?
Answer: Because every piece – from our snails to our vases – is hand sculpted and hand painted, no two items are ever identical. This is the beauty of handmade ceramics! you will own a truly unique piece of art
3. Care Instructions
Question: Are your ceramics dishwasher or microwave safe?
Answer: While our creations are waterproof, we recommend cleaning our creations with a soft makeup brush or light cloth to remove dust. each product will have its individual care instructions.
4. Custom Orders
Question: Do you take commissions for specific animals or characters?
Answer: I love creating bespoke pieces! Whether it's a specific colour of rabbit or a personalised mood plaque, please get in touch via the contact page to discuss your ideas and current lead times.
5. Returns & Breakages
Question: What happens if my ceramic item arrives broken?
Answer: We do our absolute best to pack things securely, but ceramics are fragile! If your item arrives damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or a refund immediately.
6. The Fairy Bears & Safety
Question: Are your ceramic animals suitable for children
Answer: While they are called 'fairy bears' and 'unicorns', please note these are decorative keepsakes and collectables, not toys. They contain small parts and can be broken if dropped, so they should be kept out of reach of very young children.
