Ceramic Care & Aftercare-Enchanted Creations

Caring for Your Handmade Ceramics

Each piece from my studio is handcrafted with love and designed to last a lifetime. To keep your ceramics looking their best, here are a few simple tips on how to care for them

Ornamental Figures & Sculptures

including our handmade ceramic dragons, resin baby dragons, rabbits, cute resin frogs, garden snails, glow-in-the-dark duck pond creations, and collectible unicorns figures

  • Dusting: These pieces have lots of tiny details; use a soft, clean paintbrush or a dry cloth to gently remove dust from scales, ears and shells
  • Deep Cleaning: if your figure needs a deeper clean, a quick wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap is perfect; please do not submerge them in water
  • Sunlight: While my glazes are durable, keeping them out of constant, direct sunlight will help preserve their finish for years to come.

If your item has any resin in its making, please keep it out of direct sunlight.

The Beauty of Handmade

Because every item is made by hand in my Holmfirth craft studio, you may notice slight variations in colour, texture, or shape. These aren't flaws – they are the "fingerprints" of the maker and ensure that your piece is the only one of its kind in the world

Specialty Items

  • Cute Ceramic Night Lights: Dust the ceramic shell with a dry cloth to ensure no water touches the electrical components
  • Inspirational Motivation Mood Plaques: These are best placed in an area where they won't get knocked. a gentle wipe with a damp cloth is all they need to stay bright
  • Unique Resin Hair Clips: To protect the metal clip, please avoid wearing these in the shower or swimming. If the resin part gets dirty, wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Please avoid wearing on hot summer days

Accidents Happen!

If your favourite resin baby dragon piece ever takes a tumble, don't panic. Most ceramics can be repaired; if you're unsure, feel free to contact me for advice on the best way to fix it.
